When the Christmas Holidays approach, there are many things that we have to do, one of which is buying Christmas gifts. Getting presents might get overwhelming, especially when you have a big family. To make this task easier, I have created a spreadsheet for Christmas Gifts Planning (you can find the download link below). I write there all family members and fill in the gift ideas, prices, whether I have already purchased the gift, and so on. Thanks to that, I have a perfect overview of the Christmas shopping process. I find it very helpful since I know that I have all the information I need in one place and I don’t have to remember it.
Throughout the year
I don’t know about you, but I always end up buying presents in November or rather December. It would be so much easier to gather the gifts throughout the year, but so far, I didn’t manage to do it. If you are like me, there is one thing that can get you closer to having the presents figured out ahead. When I come across a great gift idea throughout the year, I write it down into notes on my phone. When the time comes, and I have to come up with Christmas presents, I simply look at the list and get inspired by the gift ideas. If you will be using the spreadsheet below, it is best to write those ideas right into the table. You can open the spreadsheet even on your phone. This way, you won’t forget any great idea 🙂.
The download
Below you can download The Christmas Gifts Planner Spreadsheet. Besides usual cells for a name, price, etc., you will find there “status” cells. In those cells you can select the current status of a specific gift. Have you figured out what to buy your mum? Did you purchase the present already, and has it been delivered? You can note all of that to the status columns to have an overview of your Christmas gifts purchasing process.
I hope that this spreadsheet will help you streamline your Christmas shopping and give you more time to relax and enjoy the real purpose of Christmas.
Marry Christmas! 🙂
